Born and raised in Tennessee, Rosa has lived in Nebraska on and off since 2009 and has called several different states home throughout her life. Her passion for animals began at a young age, having owned pets her entire life. She owned horses from the age of seven until two years ago, when her beloved mare sadly passed away as a result of the tornado that impacted Elkhorn.
Rosa has worked as a veterinary assistant for approximately eight years, with a special interest in exotic animal medicine. For six of those years, she worked in exotic medicine within a general small animal practice, gaining valuable experience caring for a wide variety of species.
At home, Rosa shares her life with two ball pythons, Cain and Amara; a crested gecko named Rowena; three Heeler/Heeler mixes named Spur, Zoey, and Goose; and a cat named Jasper.
The most rewarding part of her career is the opportunity to learn something new every day and continually expand her knowledge to provide the best possible care for her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs and family.
Rosa is excited and proud to be a part of the Skyline Veterinary team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients while providing compassionate care for their pets.
