Maegan is a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who is passionate about helping animals and embracing the variety and challenges that veterinary medicine brings each day. Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Maegan enjoys making a difference in the lives of patients and their families through compassionate, high-quality care.
Maegan earned a degree from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in 2019 and continued their education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduating in 2022. Prior to joining Skyline Veterinary Clinic, Maegan gained valuable experience working at two general practice veterinary clinics in Lincoln, building a strong foundation in patient care and veterinary nursing.
Among the many aspects of veterinary medicine, Maegan has a special interest in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, and dental cleanings. She enjoys following patients through the entire surgical process, from preparation to recovery, and particularly appreciate the problem-solving and teamwork involved in exploratory procedures. The hands-on nature of surgery and anesthesia has become one of the most rewarding parts of their career.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, working on puzzles, gardening, spending time with their dog Riley, and taking long walks.
