Alicia is a Client Care Specialist who brings a lifelong passion for both animal care and client service to her role. Originally from Sumter, South Carolina, she has lived in several states and even abroad as part of her family's military journey. As the spouse of an Air Force servicemember, she has called Virginia, Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, Germany, Mississippi, and Nebraska home.
Growing up surrounded by animals, Alicia developed a deep love for caring for pets at an early age. Her grandparents raised horses, cows, pigs, cats, and dogs, and her own household always included animal companions. Her passion for helping animals was evident even as a child, once secretly caring for a pet rat for months before her mother discovered it. Encouraged by her family to pursue her dream, Alicia earned an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, Colorado, graduating in 2010. She is also a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Prior to joining Skyline Veterinary Clinic, Alicia worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician in North Carolina and at the United States Air Force Academy Veterinary Clinic in Colorado Springs. Her extensive experience and veterinary knowledge allow her to provide compassionate support to both clients and their pets.
Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and her loyal German Shepherd, Gunner. She loves reading, hiking, walking, shopping, organizing, and cleaning. A self-proclaimed mountain enthusiast, she holds a special love for Colorado and the beauty of the outdoors.
A fun fact about Alicia is that she is passionate about all things German Shepherds and can never resist talking about the breed she loves. She also enjoys making others smile, and in her younger years, she shared a love of scuba diving with her father. Her fascination with marine life, especially manatees, continues to this day
